第7回目となるFACO学術集会が、会長のJin Li先生の地元である上海で開催されました。

The 7th International Conference of Federation of Asian Clinical Oncology (FACO) was held in Shanghai, the hometown of Chairman, Prof. Jin Li.

学術集会開催に合わせて第21回FACOビジネス会合を開催し、今後も日中韓でますます臨床研究を推進していく旨、ディスカッションしました。

The 21st FACO Business Meeting was held in conjunction with the congress, and at that time, it was discussed that Japan, China and South Korea would like to continue to promote clinical research more actively.

第20回FACOビジネス会合 @ JSCO2019

The 20th FACO Business Meeting at JSCO2019 in Fukuoka

2019年10月24日～26日に福岡で開催の第57回日本癌治療学会学術集会（吉田和弘会長）の際、第20回目となるビジネス会合を行いました。

今後のアジアにおける各種団体との連携などに関してあつくディスカッションしました。

JSCO2019会期の最終日、10月26日には、「FACO/JSCO Joint Symposium」が開催され、進行中の臨床研究CONVO-GC1、OLIGO-BC1、PC-CURE-1について日中韓の研究者より発表がありました。

The 20th Business Meeting was held during the 57th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (Congress President: Prof. Kazuhiro Yoshida) held in Fukuoka from 24th to 26th October 2019. Doctors from Japan, China and South Korea had a lively discussion about future collaboration with various organizations in Asia.

The FACO/JSCO Joint Symposium was held on 26th October, the final day of the JSCO2019 Congress, and doctors from Japan, China and South Korea made presentation about their ongoing clinical research CONVO-GC1, OLIGO-BC1 and PC-CURE-1. 

第78回日本癌学会学術総会での特別企画

Presentation at the 78th Annual Meeting of the Japan Cancer Association

国立京都国際会館で開催の第78回日本癌学会学術総会の初日、9月26日に「がん医療・がん研究の国際展開」企画で、FACOの最初の試験CONVO-GC1の吉田和弘PIと、2つ目の試験OLIGO-BC1の井本滋PIが、日中韓の国際研究に関して、プレゼンをしました。

On 26th September, the first day of the 78th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association held at the Kyoto International Conference Center, the FACO's first study, CONVO-GC1’s PI, Prof. Kazuhiro Yoshida and 2nd study, OLIGO-BC1’s PI, Prof. Shigeru Imoto gave their talk for the session "Global development of cancer care and research". Both studies are international joint studies conducted by the three countries of Japan, China and South Korea.

第19回FACOビジネス会合 @ ASCO2019

The 19th FACO Business Meeting was held at ASCO2019 in Chicago

毎年シカゴで開催されているアメリカ臨床腫瘍学会（ASCO, American Society of Clinical Oncology）の学術集会会場で、今年もFACOのビジネス会合を開催。
GW明けに症例登録を終了したOLIGO-BC1試験について、当初の予想をはるかに上回る 1262例もの登録があったことに関し、井本滋PIより日中韓の協力者に感謝を述べました。

また、FACOの第１番目の研究CONVO-GC1のサブ解析に関して、３か国に報告。そして、次回、第7回FACO学術集会は上海。上海大会の詳細についても日中韓の3か国でディスカッションしました。

FACO's business meeting was held again this year at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago. During the BM, regarding the OLIGO-BC1 study, which completed case registration after GW, there were 1262 cases registered, which far exceeded the initial expectation and Prof. Shigeru Imoto, the principal investigator, thanked the collaborators in Japan, China and South Korea.

The report was made concerning the sub-analysis of CONVO-GC1, the first study of FACO. Next FACO's International Conference will be the 7th, and the 7th Congress will be held in Shanghai, so that doctors from Japan, Korean and China discussed the details of the Shanghai Congress.

OLIGO-BC1症例登録終了

OLIGO-BC1 online registration completed

当初の目標700症例のところ、日中韓の共同研究者からの多大なるご協力のもと、予測をはるかに超えた1262もの症例登録をもって、OLIGO-BC1試験は、2019年5月10日をもって症例登録を終了。元号のかわる節目の10連休中も症例登録を助けていただいた先生方に深く御礼申し上げます。

The initial goal was 700 cases, but with the great cooperation of collaborators in Japan, China and South Korea, OLIGO-BC1 received 1262 cases enrollment, which far exceeded expectations, and the online registration was completed on 10th May 2019. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the doctors who helped us with the case registration even during the 10 consecutive holidays, which is the turning point of the Heisei era to Reiwa era.

PC-CURE-1オンライン症例登録開始

Start of PC-CURE-1 Online Registration

2019年2月18日、PC-CURE-1のオンライン症例登録のスタートです。
2016年10月に、FACOの3番目の研究が、「切除不能膵癌に対するFOLFIRINOX療法またはゲムシタビン＋ナブパクリタキセル併用療法により切除可能と判断された膵癌患者の登録解析研究（PC-CURE-1）」と決まってから2年以上経過しましたが、その間に日中韓の研究者が集まり、さまざまなディスカッションを重ねてきました。

On 18 February 2019, online case registration for PC-CURE-1 began.

In October 2016, FACO's third study was decided in the "Cohort study of patients with initially unresectable pancreatic cancer in whom conversion surgery is planned after FOLFIRINOX or gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel therapy", and more than two years have passed since the decision was made. During that time, doctors from Japan, China and South Korea gathered and held various discussions.
