OLIGO-BC1 Investigator Meeting in Tokyo

2017年11月23日～25日、東京国際フォーラムにて開催の第79回日本臨床外科学会総会会場において、日本の共同研究施設向けに乳癌OLIGO-BC1試験のEDCシステム利用方法を井本滋PIより説明しました。

At the 79th Annual Congress of the Japan Surgical Association held at the Tokyo International Forum from 23th to 25th November 2017, there was an investigators meeting during the Congress and Prof. Shigeru Imoto, PI of the study, gave a presentation on how to use the EDC system for the breast cancer OLIGO-BC1 trial to doctors from collaborating facilities in Japan.

The 5th International Conference of Federation of Asian Clinical Oncology in Seoul

2017年11月10日、KSMO主催のThe 10th Annual Meeting of Korean Society of Medical Oncologyとともに開催された、第5回FACO学術集会では、進行中の乳癌OLIGO-BC1試験およびこれから行われる膵癌に関する試験に関し、日中韓の研究者がディスカッションしました。

The 5th International Conference of FACO was held on 10 November 2017 in conjunction with 10th Annual Meeting of the Korean Society of Medical Oncology. OLIGO-BC1, FACO's current ongoing study, and PC-CURE-1, FACO's next study, were discussed by investigators from China, Japan and Korea during the Conference.

FACO学術集会会場となったロッテホテルソウルのお弁当。雑穀米にキヌアと魚介の和え物、キムチの他、野菜もたっぷりでとてもヘルシー。

This photo is a lunch box of Lotte Hotel Seoul, which was the venue of the FACO Conference. Very healthy plates with millet rice, quinoa and seafood, kimchi, and plenty of vegetables.

ロッテホテルは繁華街の明洞にも近く、夜遅くまでたくさんの屋台が出ていて、コスメやファッションのお店もオープンしていて、とても楽しいところ。

Lotte Hotel is close to downtown Myeongdong, there are many food stalls until late at night, and cosmetics and fashion shops are open, so it's a very fun place.

お米でできたホットック。夕食後だったので、あまりたくさん食べられず、数人で1個購入したら、お店の方がカットしてくれました。やさしい。

Hotteok made of rice. It was after dinner, so we couldn't eat much, so we bought one piece for all of us, a staff from the stand cut it for us, how kind !

第4の試験は希少小児がんである肝芽腫（PHITT）との方向性

FACO's 4th study 'Pediatric Hepatic Tumor International Therapeutic Trial'

第55回日本癌治療学会学術集会会期中（横浜）の10月21日、第15回FACOビジネス会合の場で、FACOの第4の試験は、希少小児がんである肝芽腫（PHITT、檜山英三PI）とする方向性を確認した。

During the 55th Annual Meeting of Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (JSCO2017), on 21st October, at Yokohama, the 15th FACO Business Meeting was held and the Paediatric Hepatic International Tumour Trial (PHITT) was confirmed as 4th study of FACO.

OLIGO-BC1 Pre-Ivestigator Meeting in Fukuoka

2017年7月13日～15日開催の第25回日本乳癌学会学術総会（代表：岩瀬弘敬会長）会期中の7月15日、日本のOLIGO-BC1共同研究施設にむけた説明会を井本滋PIが行いました。

The 25th Annual Meeting of Japanese Breast Cancer Society was held from 13th to 15th July 2017 at Fukuoka. On 15th July, Prof. Shigeru Imoto, PI of OLIGO-BC1 study, made an orientation session for the participating institutions from Japan. 

このボリュームで確か1300円くらいで、明太子まで。福岡は魚がおいしい街。

Even with such a large volume, Fukuoka is a delicious fish town where we can eat a lunch set meal with mentaiko for about 1,300 yen.

APCC2017でのFACOセッション

KCA-APCC-FACO Joint Symposium in Seoul

2017年6月22日～24日開催の 24th Asia Pacific Cancer Conference、43th Annual Meeting of Korean Cancer Associationにおいて、FACOのジョイント・シンポジウムが行われ、胃がんCONVO-GC1、乳癌OLIGO-BC1さらに今後FACOで展開していく膵癌の試験に関し、日中韓の研究者がディスカッションしました。

A joint symposium with FACO was held at the 24th Asia Pacific Cancer Conference and 43th Annual Meeting of Korean Cancer Association that was held from 22nd to 24th June 2017, and gastric cancer study CONVO-GC1, breast cancer study OLIGO-BC1 and FACO's future study pancreatic cancer trial were discussed among doctors from three counties.

韓国に来たら一度は食べたいプルコギ。お店の方がときどき混ぜにきてくれるので安心。

CONVO-GC1試験症例登録終了

CONVO-GC1 study, Online registration complete

胃がんのCONVO-GC1試験のオンライン症例登録が2017年3月31日に無事に終了しました。900症例が目標のところ、予想をはるかに超える2149ものご登録をいただきました。その旨、2017年6月2日～6日、シカゴで開催の第53回ASCO学術集会（The 53rd Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology, ASCO2017)会期中の第14回FACOビジネス会合の際に、日中韓の共同研究者に報告し、協力に感謝しました。

Online case enrollment for the CONVO-GC1 study was successfully completed on 31st March 2017. With the goal of 900 cases, the study received 2149 registrations, which far exceeded from expectations. To that effect, at the 14th FACO Business Meeting during the 53rd Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO2017) held in Chicago from 2nd to 6th June 2017, Prof. Yoshida, PI of the study, reported this big success to the collaborators of Japan, China and South Korea and thanked them for their cooperation.
