はじめてのヴァーチャル・フォーマットで５月29日から開催のASCO学術集会（ASCO2020）。OLIGO－BC1（希少転移乳癌の局所及び全身両方に関する国際共同後向きコホート研究）はポスターセッションに参加（First author: Ueno T)。

The first virtual annual meeting of ASCO will be starting from 29th May 2020. OLIGO-BC1 (International Retrospective Cohort Study of Locoregional and Systemic Therapy in Oligometastatic Breast Cancer) will be participating in poster session (First author: Ueno T).

Same Great Science, New Virtual Format: ASCO2020

5月29日～6月2日にシカゴ McCromick Placeで開催される予定であったアメリカ臨床腫瘍学会の学術集会（ASCO2020)。例年は、FACOの日中韓の研究者がシカゴで再会していましたが、今年は、COVID-19の影響で、ASCO2020の開催形式はVirtual Formatとなりました。また、アメリカ臨床腫瘍学会では、ASCO Coronavirus Resourcesとして必要な情報をまとめています。
本邦にあっては、日本感染症学会が新型コロナウイルス関連情報をホームページに掲載しています。

The Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology Academic Meeting (ASCO2020) was scheduled to be held at McCromick Place in Chicago from 29th May to 2nd June. FACO doctors from Japan, China and South Korea reunited in Chicago every year, but this year, due to the situation of COVID-19, ASCO2020 was held in Virtual Format. In addition, the ASCO has compiled the necessary information as ASCO Coronavirus Resources.

In Japan, the Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases has posted information related to the new coronavirus on its website.

第7回FACO学術集会および第21回ビジネス会合

The 7th International Conference of FACO and the 21st Business Meeting in Shanghai

第7回目となるFACO学術集会が、会長のJin Li先生の地元である上海で開催されました。

The 7th International Conference of Federation of Asian Clinical Oncology (FACO) was held in Shanghai, the hometown of Chairman, Prof. Jin Li.

学術集会開催に合わせて第21回FACOビジネス会合を開催し、今後も日中韓でますます臨床研究を推進していく旨、ディスカッションしました。

The 21st FACO Business Meeting was held in conjunction with the congress, and at that time, it was discussed that Japan, China and South Korea would like to continue to promote clinical research more actively.

第20回FACOビジネス会合 @ JSCO2019

The 20th FACO Business Meeting at JSCO2019 in Fukuoka

2019年10月24日～26日に福岡で開催の第57回日本癌治療学会学術集会（吉田和弘会長）の際、第20回目となるビジネス会合を行いました。

今後のアジアにおける各種団体との連携などに関してあつくディスカッションしました。

JSCO2019会期の最終日、10月26日には、「FACO/JSCO Joint Symposium」が開催され、進行中の臨床研究CONVO-GC1、OLIGO-BC1、PC-CURE-1について日中韓の研究者より発表がありました。

The 20th Business Meeting was held during the 57th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (Congress President: Prof. Kazuhiro Yoshida) held in Fukuoka from 24th to 26th October 2019. Doctors from Japan, China and South Korea had a lively discussion about future collaboration with various organizations in Asia.

The FACO/JSCO Joint Symposium was held on 26th October, the final day of the JSCO2019 Congress, and doctors from Japan, China and South Korea made presentation about their ongoing clinical research CONVO-GC1, OLIGO-BC1 and PC-CURE-1. 

第78回日本癌学会学術総会での特別企画

Presentation at the 78th Annual Meeting of the Japan Cancer Association

国立京都国際会館で開催の第78回日本癌学会学術総会の初日、9月26日に「がん医療・がん研究の国際展開」企画で、FACOの最初の試験CONVO-GC1の吉田和弘PIと、2つ目の試験OLIGO-BC1の井本滋PIが、日中韓の国際研究に関して、プレゼンをしました。

On 26th September, the first day of the 78th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association held at the Kyoto International Conference Center, the FACO's first study, CONVO-GC1’s PI, Prof. Kazuhiro Yoshida and 2nd study, OLIGO-BC1’s PI, Prof. Shigeru Imoto gave their talk for the session "Global development of cancer care and research". Both studies are international joint studies conducted by the three countries of Japan, China and South Korea.

第19回FACOビジネス会合 @ ASCO2019

The 19th FACO Business Meeting was held at ASCO2019 in Chicago

毎年シカゴで開催されているアメリカ臨床腫瘍学会（ASCO, American Society of Clinical Oncology）の学術集会会場で、今年もFACOのビジネス会合を開催。
GW明けに症例登録を終了したOLIGO-BC1試験について、当初の予想をはるかに上回る 1262例もの登録があったことに関し、井本滋PIより日中韓の協力者に感謝を述べました。

また、FACOの第１番目の研究CONVO-GC1のサブ解析に関して、３か国に報告。そして、次回、第7回FACO学術集会は上海。上海大会の詳細についても日中韓の3か国でディスカッションしました。

FACO's business meeting was held again this year at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago. During the BM, regarding the OLIGO-BC1 study, which completed case registration after GW, there were 1262 cases registered, which far exceeded the initial expectation and Prof. Shigeru Imoto, the principal investigator, thanked the collaborators in Japan, China and South Korea.

The report was made concerning the sub-analysis of CONVO-GC1, the first study of FACO. Next FACO's International Conference will be the 7th, and the 7th Congress will be held in Shanghai, so that doctors from Japan, Korean and China discussed the details of the Shanghai Congress.
