The 4th International Conference of Federation of Asian Clinical Oncology

 

Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) 主催の第4回FACO学術集会の開催地は中国の厦門。日本からも約60名の研究者が参加しました。

The 4th International Conference of FACO hosted by the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) was held in Xiamen, China. About 60 doctors from Japan participate in the FACO Conference.

経済特区の一つの厦門。

Xiamen is one of the special economic zones in China.

たまたま台風が通り過ぎた後の学会開催だったため、折れた木があちこちに。

It happened that the Conference was held after the typhoon passed, so there were broken trees here and there.

第2の試験は稀少転移乳癌(OLIGO-BC1)に決定

FACO's 2nd Study, "International Cohort Study of Locoregional and Systemic Therapy in Oligometastatic Breast Cancer"

毎年シカゴで開催されているASCO学術集会（The 52nd Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology, ASCO2016）の2016年の会期は6月3日～7日。この間、6月5日に開催された第11回FACOビジネス会合において、希少転移乳癌／オリゴメタ転移 OLIGO-BC1（PI：井本滋）をFACOの第2の試験にすることを日中韓の研究者で決定しました。

The Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology is held every year in Chicago, this year, from 3rd to 7th June 2016, The 52nd AM (ASCO2016) was held. 5th June was the date of 11th FACO Business Meeting and doctors from Japan, China and South Korea decided that oligometastasis breast cancer, OLIGO-BC1 (PI: Shigeru Imoto) as a second trial of FACO.

CONVO-GC1研究者会合 in ソウル

2nd CONVO-GC1 Investigator Meeting in Seoul

2016年4月26日～28日開催のKorean International Gastric Cancer Week 2016 (KINGCA2016) 会期中に主に韓国と中国の共同研究施設に向けて、研究者会合を開催し、胃がん試験CONVO-GC1のEDCシステムの利用方法の説明しました。

During the Korean International Gastric Cancer Week 2016 (KINGCA2016) held from 26 to 28 April 2016, the investigator's meeting was held with mainly for collaborating facilities in Korea and China, and how to use the EDC system of gastric cancer trial CONVO-GC1 was explained.

CONVO-GC1オンライン症例登録開始

2016年4月1日、とうとうCONVO-GC1のオンライン症例登録が開始。2013年秋に日中韓の最初の共同研究のテーマに胃がんが上がってから、約3年を経て、実際の症例登録がはじまりました。その間、日中韓の研究者は、何度もビジネス会合を開催し、交流を深めました。

On 1st April 2016, online case registration for CONVO-GC1 finally started. It was quite long journey, it took approximately three years since gastric cancer became the theme of FACO's first study in the fall of 2013. During that time, doctors from Japan, China and South Korea held many business meetings to deepen exchanges.

CONVO-GC1研究者会合 in 別府

1st CONVO-GC1 Investigator Meeting in Beppu

2016年3月18日、第88回日本胃癌学会総会（佐野武会長）会期中に、主に日本の共同研究施設に向けた研究者会合を開催し、実際に利用するEDCシステムを用いて、その使い方の詳細を説明しました。

On 18 March 2016, during the 88th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Gastric Cancer Association (Congress President: Prof. Takeshi Sano) that was held in Beppu, Oita Prefecture, the investigators meeting was held mainly for collaborating facilities in Japan. The details on how to use CONVO-GC1's EDC system were explained.

第3回FACO学術集会

The 3rd International Conference of FACO

2015年10月29日～31日、第53回日本癌治療学会学術集会（代表者：小西郁生会長）と併催された第3回FACO学術集会の開催地は京都。胃がんと膵がんのInternational Symposiumの他、一般演題として、FACO International Workshop（Translational Research、Clinical Trial、Surgical Techniques）が行われました。FACO設立メンバーの中国臨床腫瘍学会（CSCO）からは若手研究者約50名が来日し、日本やその他アジア等からの参加者と交流しました。

The 3rd International Conference of FACO was held in Kyoto from 29th to 31st October 2015, in conjunction with the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (Congress President: Prof. Ikuo Konishi). In addition to the International Symposium for Gastric Cancer and Pancreatic Cancer, FACO International Workshop (Translational Research, Clinical Trial, Surgical Techniques) was held as a general presentation. About 50 young doctors from the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), a founding member of FACO, visited Japan and interacted with participants from Japan and other Asian countries.

Global Oncology Symposium, ASCO2015
～Genetic and Biological Characteristics of Gastric Cancer and Its Multidisciplinary Treatment～

 

2015年5月29日～6月2日、シカゴ開催のASCO2015学術集会（The 51st Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology, ASCO2015) 会期中の5月29日、CONVO-GC1試験の吉田和弘PI（研究責任者）が、Global Oncology Symposiumで、胃がんの遺伝・生物学的特徴、集学的治療についての講演を行いました。

From 29th May to 2nd June 2015, ASCO 2015 Annual Meeting (The 51st Annual Meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology, ASCO2015) was held in Chicago. On 29n May 29, Prof. Kazuhiro Yoshida, PI of CONVO-GC1 study, gave a lecture on the Genetic and Biological Characteristics of Gastric Cancer and Its Multidisciplinary Treatment at the Global Oncology Symposium.
