UIA Survey 2021にFACOも参加

 FACO participates UIA Survey 2021 - COVID 19 Impact on International Association Meetings

国際団体連合（Union of International Association／ブリュッセル）が取りまとめているCOVID-19による国際的な学術集会へのインパクト調査に、FACOも参加いたしました。

FACO participated in the impact survey of COVID-19 on international academic meetings organized by the Union of International Association (Headquarter: Brussels). 

PC-CURE-1 症例登録終了

 PE-CURE-1 online registration completed

PC-CURE-1試験は、2021年1月31日をもってEDCによる症例登録を終了。ボランティアでご参加いただいている皆様に深く感謝申し上げます。

これからクエリ対応、解析へと進められます。

The online registration of PC-CURE-1 has finished on 31 January 2021. We would like to send big thank you to all of doctors and staff who contributed to the study. Now we move on to the query issuing and then to the analysis.

第８回FACO学術集会完全Virtual開催

 The 8th International Conference of FACO at KSMO2020,  wholly virtual meeting

COVID-19の影響で完全Virtual開催となった第8回FACO学術集会（韓国KSMO2020)。

Due to COVID-19 situation, the 8th FACO Meeting's format has changed to wholly virtual.

２つのセッションから構成されたFACOシンポジウム、まずは、OLIGO-BC１試験に関し、PIの井本滋先生が講演。

FACO Meeting consists two sessions, starting with Prof. Shigeru Imoto's OLIGO-BC1 presentation.

続いて、現在進行中のPC-CURE-1試験についてPIの古瀬純司先生がプレゼン。

Q&Aをチャット式で投稿でき、文字で確認できるのはVirtual Meetingの強み。

Next, Prof. Junji Furuse who is PI of PC-CURE-1 study, on-going study of FACO, made his talk. One of strengths of virtual meeting is that we can post Q&A in a chat style and check it in the text. 

第２部では、高野利実先生が「Immunotherapy and new agents for breast cancer in Japan」のテーマでご講演されました(座長：西山正彦、FACO CEO）。

Dr. Toshimi Takano gave his lecture "Immunotherapy and new agents for breast cancer in Japan" for the second part. The Chair of the session was Prof. Masahiko Nishiyama, CEO of FACO. 

ネットワークや音声のテスト、リハーサルとVirtual開催ならではのチャレンジがあったものの、大成功に終わりました。

Despite the challenges of audio or network testing, and rehearsals due to virtual event, the FACO Meeting was organized by KSMO and was a huge success.

第８回FACO学術集会 ハイブリッド形式開催

8th International Conference of FACO at KSMO2020
Virtual & In-Person Conference

この9月に、韓国のKSMO（Korean Society of Medical Oncology）が主催し、KSMO学術集会と併催される第8回FACO学術集会は、COVID-19の影響で日本や中国などからの演者は、ヴァーチャル参加することとなりました。
FACOのシンポジウムは、9月4日午後に開催される予定です。

Chairs and speaker from China and Japan for the 8th International Conference of FACO, hosted by the Korean Society of Medical Oncology (KSMO) in South Korea, will be held in conjunction with the KSMO Annual Meeting, will participate in virtually due to current situation of COVID-19.

The FACO symposium will be held on the afternoon of 4th September.
