第9回FACO学術集会を横浜にて開催

9th FACO International Conference in Yokohama


晴天の横浜において第9回FACO学術集会（林隆一会長）は10月23日に開催されました。
この日の新型コロナウィルスの日本での新規感染者数は283名、と大きかった第5波に比べ格段に少なったものの、まだ海外来日者をおむかえはできず、中国・韓国からの講演は、Virtualとなりました（一部の日本からに講演者もOnlineでライブ参加）。
中国-韓国-日本の持ち回りで、2013年から毎年執り行われてきた、FACOの学術集会は9年を経て今回で3クールが終わりました。


The 9th FACO Conference (Congress President: Dr. Ryuichi Hayashi) was held on 23rd October in sunny Yokohama.
Although the number of new infections of the new coronavirus in Japan on that day was 283, which was much smaller than the 5th wave, it was still not possible to welcome overseas speakers, and lectures from China and South Korea were held in  virtual format (speakers from some Japan also participated live online).
The FACO Conferences which have been held every year since 2013 in routine of China-Korea-Japan, and 2021 is the 9th years.

CONVO-GC1論文掲載

 CONVO-GC1: online publishing (Annals of Gastroenterological Surgery)




FACOとして、日中韓の研究者が最初に取り組んだ臨床研究、胃癌のCONVO-GC1の論文が、日本消化器外科学会のオフィシャル・ジャーナル「Annals of Gastroenterological Surgery」に掲載されました。
2013年頃にアジアでの共同研究のターゲットを胃癌に決めてから、約8年。ようやく3か国の成果が実を結びました。長い時間を要したものの、その間に行われたたくさんの研究者会合などを経て、アジアで友情は確固たるものとなったのではないでしょうか。

Finally, FACO's first study CONVO-GC1 has been published online in the Annals of Gastroenterological Surgery.
It was around 2013 that FACO targeted gastric cancer as the first international joint study among China, Korea and Japan. 
About eight years have passed since then, and we have experienced a pandemic, but despite of any kind of obstacle, doctors from three countries have never stopped and have continued to move forward.
FACO would like to express its sincere gratitude to all doctors for your contributions to Asian people with cancer and hopes that the collaboration in Asia will continue to deepen.

第9回FACO学術集会

 The 9th International Conference of FACO



2013年に中国・厦門で第1回目が開催されたFACOの学術集会。
今年は、第59回日本癌治療学会学術集会（林隆一会長）に併催され、第9回FACO学術集会が10月23日に横浜（およびVirtual）で行われます。




It was 2013, the 1st International Conference was held in Xiamen, China. This year, the 9th Conference of FACO is held in conjunction with the 59th Annual Meeting of Japan Society of Clinical Oncology that is organized by Prof. Ryuichi Hayashi, Congress President, in Yokohama. 

現在、FACOで進行中の乳がんと膵がんに関し、日中韓の研究者がディスカッションします。

The breast cancer and the pancreatic cancer, that are current study of FACO, are discussed by the doctors from China, Korea and Japan.

第21回日本癌治療学会市民公開講座

 The 21st Public Lecture of Japan Society of Clinical Oncology


第21回目となる日本癌治療学会の市民公開講座「最新がん治療の動向」はWebでの動画配信による講演となりました。広報委員会委員長で、2016年10月に横浜で開催された第6回FACO学術集会の会長もつとめた野々村祝夫教授が「開会の挨拶」のパートを担当し、FACOに関しても言及しました。

「最新がん治療の動向」は、2021年12月までYoutubeにて公開されています。昨今よく耳にするトピックが専門家によりわかりやすく説明されており、『がんに対する薬物療法 -免疫療法を中心に-』や『ゲノム情報に基づいた最新のがん診療』など興味深いレクチャーばかりです。


The 21st Public Lecture "Trends in the Latest Cancer Treatment" of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (JSCO) was held by virtual style. Prof. Norio Nonomura, Chair of JSCO Public Relations Committee, Congress President of 6th International Conference of FACO that was held at Yokohama on 2018, was in charge of the "Opening Remarks", and he mentioned about FACO.

You can access to "Latest Cancer Treatment Trends" on Youtube until December 2021.The topics that are often heard these days are explained in an easy-to-understand manner by experts, and there are only interesting lectures such as "Pharmacotherapy for cancer-focusing on immunotherapy-" and "Latest cancer treatment based on genomic information".

Crowdfunding being implemented by JCA has achieved its first goal and moved to the next goal


第80回日本癌学会学術総会が実施中のクラウドファンディングが、先日、第一目標金額の3,000,000円に達し、現在、5,000,000円のNEXT GOULに向けて、支援を募っています。

The Crowdfunding, which is being held by the 80th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association, recently reached the first target 3,000,000 yen, and is currently seeking support for NEXT GOUL of 5,000,000 yen.

 Let's support crowdfunding conducted by the Japanese Cancer Association


FACOの研究者たちが発表する事もある、日本癌学会の学術総会。第80回日本癌学会学術総会（佐谷秀行会長）では、クラウドファンディング「がん治療の種を育てよう｜がん研究がより進んでいく未来のために」を実施中です。All-or-Nothing方式（目標金額を達成した場合のみ、実行者は集まった支援金を受け取ることができる）で行っているこのクラウドファンディングの支援募集は6月30日（水）午後11:00までです。

Some of FACO doctors have made the presentation at the annual meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association. The crowdfunding "Gan-chiryo no tane wo sodateyo | Gan-kenkyu ga yori-susunde-iku mirai-no tameni (Let's grow seeds for cancer treatment | For the future where cancer research progresses)" by the 80th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association (Congress President : Prof. Hideyuki Saya) is being implemented. This crowdfunding is carried out by the All-or-Nothing method (the practitioner can receive the collected support money only when the target amount is achieved), and the application for support money is accepted until 23:00 on 30th June 2021.

OLIGO-BC1: ASCO2021ポスターセッション参加

昨年に引き続きOLIGO-BC1（希少転移乳癌の局所及び全身療法に関する国際共同後向きコホート研究）は、ASCO学術集会（会期：2021年6月4日～8日）のポスタ―セッションで発表（First author: Wang K）。

This year again, OLIGO-BC1 (International Retrospective Cohort Study of Locoregional and Systemic Therapy in Oligometastatic Breast Cancer) participates in poster session at ASCO Virtual Annual Meeting (First author: Wang K).

OLIGO-BC1の井本滋PIが会長をつとめる第29回日本乳癌学会学術総会が、2021年7月1日～3日にパシフィコ横浜ノース+Virtualで開催されます。海外からの登壇者紹介ページには、OLIGO-BC1の共同研究者の名前も含まれています。



The 29th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Breast Cancer Society, chaired by Prof. Shigeru Imoto, PI of OLIGO-BC1, will be held at Pacifico Yokohama North + Virtual from 1st to 3rd July 2021 and some of collaborators of OLIGO-BC1 will give their talks for the Meeting.

国際団体連合（Union of International Association／ブリュッセル）が取りまとめているCOVID-19による国際的な学術集会へのインパクト調査に、FACOも参加いたしました。

FACO participated in the impact survey of COVID-19 on international academic meetings organized by the Union of International Association (Headquarter: Brussels).

PC-CURE-1試験は、2021年1月31日をもってEDCによる症例登録を終了。ボランティアでご参加いただいている皆様に深く感謝申し上げます。

これからクエリ対応、解析へと進められます。

The online registration of PC-CURE-1 has finished on 31 January 2021. We would like to send big thank you to all of doctors and staff who contributed to the study. Now we move on to the query issuing and then to the analysis.
